Goodbye
Dear Albert Gallatin High School,
In sitting down to write this letter, I am flooded with a wide variety of emotions. It is safe to say that my class’s high school experience has been anything but normal, largely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Yet, if given the opportunity to rewrite the past and change any part of my high school experience, I would not change one bit of it. Instead, I would tell myself to stop stressing about the little things and enjoy the moment. It is a common occurrence for people to complain about the speed at which senior year flies by, and in the past I never really believed it. Now, I can attest that it is true. My senior year was a total blur, highlighted by many milestones that I still do not think I have had the time to fully digest and appreciate. Overall, I want to extend thanks and gratitude to everyone here who has helped me in any way throughout my time here. Without support from my friends and teachers, I would not be where I am today. I am especially grateful for those who may not realize the impact they have had on me. These relationships and experiences are carried with me always, and I will not forget them for the world. With my time at AGHS coming to an end, I feel sincerely ready to move onto college but I also do not want to forget my time here and the memories made that will be cherished forever.
Yours Truly,
Gianna Valenti
